All in the Family

Current owner Ron George’s grandfather, Joe, founded George’s Shoes and Repair in 1905 in northern Lebanon. When he retired, he passed the business along to his son, Said, who ran it for nearly 40 years and moved operations from the Dakotas to St. Paul. More than 40 years ago, Ron took over, and currently runs the shop alongside his son, Luke, and daughter, Melissa.

We not only fix your favorite shoes, handbags, luggage, ball gloves, jackets & more … but we carry a variety of quality footwear and sock brands as well. Including Birkenstock, UGG, Minnetonka moccasin, Merrell, Sorel, Keen, Chaco, New Balance as well as Smartwool Socks, Darn Tough Socks, Sockwell socks. We hope you enjoy shopping local and supporting our community as much as we do!
